Partner terms

These terms govern the Nestraqpartner price-check API and widget ("the Service"). They supplement our general terms of service. Requesting, verifying or using a partner key constitutes acceptance. Last updated: 5 July 2026.

1. What the Service is

A postcode-level statistical price estimate derived from HM Land Registry Price Paid Data and the UK House Price Index (Open Government Licence v3.0), plus derived signals (band placement, liquidity, SDLT arithmetic). It is provided free at the standard tier, as-is, without warranty of availability or accuracy.

2. What the Service is not

The Service is not a valuation for lending purposes, not a RICS survey or valuation, and not financial advice. It never recommends, compares or steers toward any mortgage or other regulated financial product, and you must not present its output as doing so. Any regulated advice on your pages is given by you under your own FCA permissions.

3. Keys and fair use

  • Keys are issued to a verified email, locked to your registered domain(s), and may be revoked for breach or abuse.
  • The free tier allows 200 checks per key per day; volume above that requires a written agreement.
  • You must not circumvent domain locks, quotas or the daily capacity breaker, share keys across organisations, or issue keys programmatically.

4. No resale of derived data

You must not resell, sublicense, redistribute, syndicate or otherwise commercialise the Service's responses or any dataset derived from them — including bulk-collecting estimates, bands, verdicts or liquidity signals to build, train, enrich or seed any product, dataset, index or model, whether or not transformed or aggregated. The Service exists to be shown to your client on your pages at the moment of decision; it is not a data feed. Systematic extraction (key farming, rotating keys or domains, bulk postcode sweeps) is a material breach and results in immediate revocation.

5. Attribution

Responses contain public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. The embedded attribution string and the lending disclaimer must remain visible wherever the data is displayed — the widget renders both by default; if you build your own UI from the API you must render them too. This is a licence condition, not a preference.

6. Privacy

The API accepts a postcode and an asking price — no end-buyer personal data — and the response schema is postcode-level only (no addresses, no comparables, no property identifiers). We log key ID, domain, postcode and timestamps for quota, abuse and aggregate analytics. We do not receive or store anything about your visitors. See the privacy policy.

7. Changes and termination

We may change quotas, schema (additively) or these terms with notice on this page; we may suspend or revoke keys for breach. You may stop using the Service at any time — removing the embed is the only step. Sections 4 and 5 survive termination.
